Glad you figured out the problem with your Karcher pressure cleaner... For anyone out there with a K2400 model with the same symptom, there is a well kown problem - the unloader valve came out of the factory with unsufficient grease, and the simple (and cheap) cure is to either grease the valve and be ready to repeat that if it does not work after a while, or get an upgraded valve from a supplier like West Michigan Power Cleaning Systems. West Michigan Power Cleaning Systems sent me two unloader valves.......one for the 2400 and one for the 3000..........the one they sent for the 3000 was the wrong one. I took the new unloader and put it in to the 2400 (followed their directions about starting the engine to get a stuck unloader out...worked great). It took right off and seemed to work fine.......

I took the OLD one from the 2400 and put it in to the 3000 and it took right off and worked like a charm.

I'll email them and see if I can trade this one back in........the incorrect one was $39.99 and the correct one (which they both take) was only $24.95.

I may just have them send me some pump lube/anti-freeze too.........sure it would help during the long winter months.....
