I used pilot operated check valves on my tilt cylinders. I did not do in on my top link cylinder which allows for float still. As mentioned, most 3pt hitches do not have down pressure and is no different using hydraulics than manual adjustable side links other than the ease of adjusting. Here is a picture of my Fit Rite set up.

Yep, Brian has helped me diagnose and come to the best solution, a check valve. He also spent some time helping me understand my hydraulics and what is going on. His assistance is greatly appreciated.

So glad I got my top and tilt thru him.
