Hello Logan, Dont be afraid to give the ck30 a good look as well, the extra 5hp is nice to have and it weighs the same as the ck25.. I really like my Ck30 and have been very happy with its performance.. Its proven to very a very capable machine to me.. Your price seems about right, the ck30 should run around 1000 to 1500 more... Good luck.

I have a CK25hst and have been pretty happy with it so far. I had thought about getting the CK30 but the budget just didn't allow it. And with the money I saved I was able to afford a 64" snowblower. It's a good machine with a nice size frame. I wouldn't have wanted anything smaller for my needs. (No offence to any of you CK20 owners out there /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif) Be sure to test drive both the CK25 and the CK30 if you have any doubts.
I think your pricing is about right, it's on par with what I paid for mine. I have ordered a few parts for it here and there and I think availability has very reasonable. I really believe it will only get better as Kioti gets things ramped up.
Good luck with your purchase,
Phil

After just over a years worth of research I finally bought a used CK20HST w/loader and 60" RFM. This site has been invaluable during my search especially knowing very little about tractors. After about 2 months of use I couldn't be happier.

I had originally discounted Kioti because a local dealer, who had just dropped the line, didn't have the best to say about them. But remaining neutral in my search I came back to them and the rest is history. So to reiterate what others have said, dealers can definitely make the difference. I am very happy with the Kioti and I think you would be to.

Welcome aboard. I also picked up a used CK20 a couple of months ago and am very pleased with it. I've managed to put about 30 hours on it so far and continue to refine my own skills. The tractor is tough, well made and highly capable.

Just to get back on topic (CK25): I looked at the CK25/30 but thought they would be a bit too much tractor for what I needed in the long term. Of course right now while I am digging stumps and removing brush, I'd dearly love a CK30 with grapple but in the long run the CK20 can mow and do routine tasks about as well as it's bigger siblings so I am happy with my choice.

Thanks for the reply's. I called today and ordered a CK25 with a KL130 loader and 1 aux. remote at the rear. $14k and I got them to throw in the service manuals. Now if I could just find the extra $$ to pickup a backhoe attachment for it. I get tired of renting one (although the mini excavator I rent is a blast to operate).

Welcome to the rowdy...er..Kioti side.
I didn't get a chance to let you know how much I'm enjoying my CK30. Then again, as I only have 11 hours on the clock, I'm certainly not qualified to give an expert opinion yet.
Did I mention how much I like it?

jwease,

Just out of curiosity, How are Kioti resale prices, if you don't mind telling what you paid.

Don't you need a snowblower for that ?

Congratulations, and welcome to the fabulous world of Kioti CK25 ownership where serious work is made fun again! Yes, it's from the manual, but I wrote it, so I can use it!
I bought a CK20HST in Jan 04. My use has slowed a good bit due to other concerns, but I've never had any warranty problems with it other than a plastic knob that broke on the ROPS tightening bolts, replaced the next day by my dealer. Over 350 hours of fantastic performance, I'm very very happy with Kioti.
