Dealer quoted me $10K on CK20 HST with loader. Machine had 28hrs and is either a late 2004 or early 2005 model. (I bought it). I think that is a bit less than an equivalent Kubota 7510 with low hours from a dealer. The larger market share, name recognition and dealer network of Kubota will continue to keep a slight premium on used Kubotas vs Kioti for a while.

Thats a pretty good price. The fact it was such a new unit but still used acutally hurt its resale quite a bit....but helped you to pick up a great unit at a great price! Being used be so new it would have to be quite a bit lower than new price to compete with the low rate financing. Congradulations on the great find!

I got a very good deal, I think on e-bay. I was very hesitant about buying something that expensive, sight unseen but I did it and I'm happy I did. It was $10,300 including loader and rear 60" rear finish mower with 124hrs. I bought from someone in WV and the process couldn't have gone smoother.
The seller was patient and very helpful.

I plan on selling the RFM though because its too much for my lawn with all the trees and other obstacles. Its also too heavy for some of the wetter areas I have. I have a zero-turn that works great. And yes I'm looking for a blower for it. I have been keeping eye out in the attachments section for info on blowers.

Sounds like both you guys got a good deal. Hopefully it's not a true picture of resale prices.

I was just thinking maybe I might go new in 5 or 6 years instead of keeping it for 20. The 2010 model year CK30 is probably going to be real nice. I think a 5 year old Kioti will hold it's value good.

I think the Kioti's will hold their value too. As the brand becomes better known, as dealers become better established, and as peope appreciate that they are functionally the same as equivalent other orange tractors, prices will hold. As pointed out in reference to my own "great deal" the drop in price currently from new to slightly used has more to do with the availability of zero percent financing on new tractors than anything else. I paid cash for my tractor and that obviously "cost" me something compared to a no or low interest loan. As these loans dry up the price of used tractors will rebound.

I'm very proud of the fact that my CK30HSTLB has performed everything I searched for. Kioti is the best (disclaimer:for me) I found. Tons of hair splitting between lifting capacities, 3-point capacities, actual HP vs PTO HP, pros and cons of Kioti's weight, comperable competetor models ect ect ect. In any event Kioti is tough to beat (disclaimer:my opinion) /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I paid cash for the CK20 a month ago and they actually took like $800 +/- off the price.

Same here, I can't find any cons about my Kioti.

We took delivery on a new CK25 Friday, so I spent some time on it over the weekend, and it sure is a nice outfit. I just have to keep in mind that it won't do the things my NH TC35 could. I am amazed with the loader on it, it is quick and strong. I quickly discovered that it could lift and role out easier than the TC35 could, which is a nice for loading trucks. So far I only have 2 complaints with it. The first being that it is not made for someone over 6ft, and the second is the location of the gear shift. The gear shif is on the left side and when in first or third, the lever is far enough forward that it could be caught or bent/broke when mounting/dismounting. I just have to remember to put it in 2nd or 4th and then it is ok.

Over all though, it is a very nice outfit and when I get used to it, I think it will be an extremely useful tool. Thanks to all for your input.
