Price Check Price Check on a TC40A

I was wondering what you all thought of this quote I got from my dealer on a TC40A. I like the dealer, he is just down the road, and my boss (who is a John Deere guy) at the farm I work at told me that the dealer's mechanic is "probably the best mechanic in the county." There are less expensive brands within 60 miles, but if this dealer agrees on a good fair price, I will buy from him, regardless (and I am going to have to work weekends to make the payments, so price is not unimportant).

I got the identical setup with out chain hooks, filled tires, or block heater, from a small but competitive dealer in eastern Kansas for $21000. That was in April of this year and was part of a package deal including a 6' rotary cutter, 72" finish mower, and 7' disk.
