Here are pics of the M7060 R1W radial tires. I like them more than the regular R1 radials, however the cost addition of cast centers is quiet a bit more than the R1 radial cast centers due to the increased material for the increased wheel diameter. I've tried to track down the weights of the new centers for comparison to regular wheel weights but haven't seen that yet.

Where are you located?? Jarid couldn't get 24" R1W fronts. And his rears are 30", versus your 34"?

Our place is in Tx, on the edge of the blackland prairie south of Dallas. I haven't purchased yet. I'm shopping and looking at various tractors and keep coming back to the M7060. Really just deciding if I want to spent the extra for the LSW cast centers and Y/N on the cab.

The 30" rims are with the older radials (Alliance Farmpro 420/85R30). The new R1W is a low side wall radial type LSW420/75R34.

Here are the older R1 radial Alliance.

Your second pic is the fronts Jarid has.

Not talking about tire brand. Talking about rim sizes.

I own a 2019 Kubota 7060 m 4wd open station fel fluid all tires cast tears..... not overly impressed. Been a j d man for years.. heard lots of talk about Kubota. Thought I壇 try 1. Does the job ... but it痴 a light weight to me compared to the same size Deere. Several faults.. idles to fast, to fast as far as lower trans... needs lower gears. Should come standard instead if purchasing after if wanted. No way of pulling if hung up.. had to add towing capability... no place for tow chain storage.. . Just to let you know this is not my first redo with tractors ... been around equipment all my life .. I知 62. I致e mowed steep ground including ROWs .. along with farming. I can honestly say I would have to reconsider buying again .... just my opinion.

I've been a really happy owner of a Kubota L4701, but I need a little more tractor to make moving large round bales less exciting. I've had zero complaints with the Kubota line and have tentatively decided on upgrading to an M7060 cab, 12-spd, radial tires, steel dishes, fluid in tires, add 3d function on the loader, and add a radio. I'm at $48,900. Feels like a good (but not great) price. What do ya think?

Also, I'm not locked into Kubota if there's other options that I'm missing. $45k was the top of my price range....

Mission will be: general gentleman's farm setup with about 15-20 head of cattle, maintain 30 acre rolling pasture, bushhogging, grapple work, fencing, moving bales. Any suggestions would be appreciated. THanks, JW

The Branson 7845 cab model looks interesting??

Kapper seems to like his

he bought a new 2019 (same model) to get the new self leveling loader

If you have to add weight to your tractor. You might want to think about a different tractor.
Buy a tractor for xxx. then, have to add $$$ just to put some weight on it, to do the job it was built for.

I have a MX I know how light it is
For some reason, Kubota is known to build light weight tractors

There's a huge spread between a JD5115M and a Kubota M7060.

Re post 18, What is the difference between R1 tyres and R1W tyres?

From: Understanding basic tire information

Speed symbol - The top speed a tire is designed to travel.
A8 is rated for 40 km/h (25 mph). B is rated for 50 km/h (31 mph)

Tread designation - The tread designation is used to describe the tread and indicate tire usage. Designs offered are all lug- or bar-type tires and are separated into one of three specifications: R1, R1W, or R2.

R1 is a standard tread and is used primarily for general dry-land farming. These tires have the shortest lug height and the narrowest spacing between lugs.

R1W is a wet traction tread for wet, sticky soil conditions. This tread fills the gap between R1 and R2 tires having a deeper lug with wider spacing than R1 tires but shorter and narrower than R2. R1W is defined as having a lug height about 20 percent deeper than an equivalent R1 tire, but this could vary from 15 to 35 percent depending on the tire and manufacturer.

R2 is a tread type used typically with cane and rice or other crops grown in wet muck or flooded fields. Tread depth of R2 tires is approximately twice as deep as R1 tires. R2 tires also have the widest spacing between lugs to allow mud to shed easier. The wide-spaced lugs can show extra wear and cause problems with vibration when roading. R2 tires may not pull as well as R1 or R1W tires in drier soil conditions found in most row-crop applications.

Typically, tires with R2 tread should be matched on the front and rear of a tractor while R1 and R1W treads can be mixed or matched on the same tractor to meet requirements or preference.

And here is Goodyear's comments on LSW technology:
