Draft control on 1700 Series Premium is $1,128.00
That is the hardest equipment to value is late model machines. You have to look at what the current selling price of a New Machine Costs and what you would pay to purchase a used machine versus a new machine with Zero hours. Best thing is you still have some warranty. Which makes it more valuable. Would a $1,000 Trip you to buy a used 1648 over a new 1749? Would $2,000 do it? Would $3,000 do it? Also with Pre-Owned there is no financing specials like new. That makes some differences too. I'm thinking mid to low 30's...$33 to $34,000 Selling Range...31 to 32,000 trade value for Tractor and Loader. Also depends on equipment that would go with it. I'm looking at base equipment. There are lots of variables to take into consideration when evaluating trade in.
Draft Control is Optional on the 1700 Series Premium Cab or Platform.
TSO, you already thinking about trading your 1648? If so, why?
Oh, ok. Earlier this month I checked on the Equine Savings Program to see if it would be a net savings for me to trade up to a 1652. No more were available. Having said that, I settled on a 1652 instead of the 1648 because for an extra $1k it came with the bigger engine, extra weight, and longer wheelbase. Seemed like a no-brainer.No no ... Not yet. I wanna see how she does this year. I'm planning to do some "for hire" tractor work and I need to see if she's got enough power. I was just curious to see what she was worth.
