Price Check Price Quotes on 4310

Just this week I ordered a new 4310 with 4wd, folding rops, e-hydro, mid-pto, r-4's, dual mid & single rear scv, draft links, speedmatch, autostyle cruisecontrol, 72" mmm & 59" front mount snowblower for $21,850. (plus tax) I thought that was a fair price as I'd done a fair amount of shopping/pricing.

That's a good deal for that much machine. Just hope you can get some kind of exemption on the sales tax.

Can you break out the tractor price only? The quotes I received priced the tractor at about $17000 from both dealers. This was for the HST model, so it may be a bit higher for that option.

Hey Steve,

I am going to stay with the 790, at least for a while. My machine is paid off and pretty much will do what I need it to. I would really like more lift on the loader and especially on the 3-point hitch. I've heard you can add shims to the hydro pump but I'm not keen on modifying my machine. I will have to investigate that further.

You are absolutely correct regarding the high prices here in NE. You might want to look into other states and have the tractor shipped or even pick it up (if possible). When a friend of mine purchased his Kubota he researched different prices in different states. He could have had the same tractor shipped to his door for $500.00 less than the dealer 10 miles down the road. He ended up going with the dealer 10 miles down the road.

I probably could find a tractor cheaper if I went out of state. My brother has an equipment store down in Florida - unfortunately he doesn't get into tractors. I learned something from him though about buying elsewhere then going local for service... Shop owners will do it, but you will go to the end of the line. I guess I believe it's just fair to keep the business local - comes around goes around. Right now I'm narrowing the field down to the dealer I like best.

I believe it. I got a quote last week on a new NH TC30 HST with FEL for 23,800. I believe that is exactly list price, have to look it up. No movement off of list whatsoever.

Kinda sad, this shop keep was an old timer who's bitter about the demise of his once beautiful rural community (so am I) and decided to take it out on me.

Yeah - it would be a lot easier to buy local if the shop owner was friendly and you felt like you would get some good service. Thats one thing I've seen at all the dealers I've been to around here - they all have great service and have offered free pick-up and delivery for warranty work. I think regular services would be on my dime. All the more reason to get a trailer. That, and the fact a lot of the work I'll be doing is about 7 minutes drive from my current house.

I HAVE LOOKING OR SHOPPING FOR QUITE A WHILE NOW. I HAVE BEEN LOOKING AT THE TOP THREE. I WALKED INTO A JOHN DEERE DEALER LAST WEEK THAT MADE ME AN OFFER THAT A COULDN'T REFUSE. SO I ENDED UP WITH A JD 4310, 430 LOADER AND I PLAN TO USE MY RFM AND BUSH HOG WITH IT. ALSO, JD FINANCING AT 0%, I COULDN'T TURN IT DOWN. I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD OWN A JD. IF ANYBODY HAS ANY TIPS OR COMMENTS ON THE 4310, I WOULD BE GLAD TO HEAR FROM YOU GUYS. THANKS ALOT AHEAD OF TIME!!!

Brent - Could you provide some more details on he mini excavators? A "tag team" of an excavator and a FEL is pretty appealing, especially if it can be had for the same price as a TBL.
