Pricing delima

What is up with Phoenix Arizona. I have not been able to get the kind of pricing on a John Deere 2305 with 200CX FEL and Frontier BB2048 that I have seen on this web site. The best price I can get is $15,300. I also priced a Kubota BX2230 with same configuration for $13,100. This seems like a no brainer, but once I subtract what each will give for my John Deere LT180 with Dozer blade the difference slides down to $602 with the John Deere 2305 being the higher one of course. Which one is the better deal? Has anyone gotten any better deals here in Phoenix?

I really like my LT180 so I am leaning towards John Deere. Also, the Deere green is easier on the eyes than the Kubota Orange.

see if you can sell your lt180 for close to what jd trade and renegotiate a cash deal with both green and orange. might work out better..........

Sounds to me like the Deere dealer has priced his new unit up higher so he can show you more for the trade than he actually is giving you. This is not an uncommon practice, especially if the dealer senses you are the type of buyer who expects to get retail price for what they are trading in.

Thanks for the info. So far I have been able to talk the John Deere dealer down to $13,690 and the Kubota Dealer down to $13,100. Hope the trend continues. John Deere is still offering to give me $3000 for my Trade which will take the 2305 down to $10,690. The Kubota dealer will only offer $2100 which brings the BX2230 down to $11,000. I guess the John Deere is looking better.
