Princess Auto 3-Point Quick Hitches

I got it for box blade and rototiller which were too heavy for me. Haven't used it in awhile but remember having to fart around quite a bit to get implements to fit. Once fitting, works well and worth the money.

Have used my HB QH now for two plus years without an issue. All five of my implements fit, pins as well. I did have to extend the hook however. Like someone said, most QH come from China so quality can't be much different from one to another, especially in the $100-150 price range. Land Pride may be better than most, they also cost more. Not sure if theirs in Chinese or made here. The QH is a terrific invention.

I have seen these at the local PA, but have not considered one.. They never seem on sale in this store, and seem quite expensive compared to many other places people mention..

Also, like many, my equipment is a hodge podge of brands and all older stuff that has the potential to be a problem to adapt, or not work at all with this..
If there is any kind of problem with the hitch, PA would be no help at all, saying talk to the manufacturer... I'm still able to hook up all my equipment without one..
Besides saving the money...

My 5 cents of opinion..

checked the web site and I definitely didn't pay 339 for it. I think prices have gone up. just checked order history 269.99 plus 87 shipping CAD. total was 402 after taxes. that was oct. 2018

I had to fiddle with a few attachments but once you get them set up it is priceless. being able to drop the counterweight and pick up the box blade without getting off the tractor if you remember to flip the handles up when you get on is worth the hassle of fitting them up in my opinion. I get jobs done that I would have put off in the past because the wrong attachment is on the tractor.

I'm convinced nearly all of the brands - HF, Princess, TSC etc that look alike are in fact all clones made to the same specs. Perhaps by several fabricators. The only difference is some need bushings while some are limited to Cat 1, due to smaller openings in the lower hooks.

It is well worthwhile to buy the 'extended' upper hook from Speeco or others. And replace the upper hook bolts with removable pins. This old post has photos describing this.

So long as the tractor isn't near the maximum hp specified then any brand of these generic Qhitches will work the same.

Deere's expensive Qhitch is the only version different from the generic clones, that I have seen.

In summary if the tractor isn't near maximum hp recommended, then just get the cheapest Qhitch then add the extended top hook and the pins to adjust the top hook height. And modify any implements that don't already have the standard dimensions described in DL Meisen's post #7, above. Some implements might be impossible to modify easily, adding washers or something, so you might not be able to use the Qhitch for everything you own.

I cut a cheapie unit apart to make it wider to fit my Harley Rake. It was important for me to remove the rake so I could pull my dump trailer alternately in a landscaping project. Then I realized with minor modifications it could fit my snowblower.

Quick Hitch. One of the best things I ever did.

PRINCESS AUTO. "NO SALE IS FINAL" So use it for five years and see if you like it. lol

Question for all of you who switch implements without getting out of the seat: What do you do about the implement stand that keeps the rear blade, rake, etc from tipping over onto the hitch? Or is it only some, like a box blade, that let you stay seated?

I can't reach the levers on my quick hitch. Still, there are often PTO shafts, hydraulic lines a well as electric to deal with most of the time.

When you get into heavier equipment, it's impossible to budge with arm power, so a quick hitch really comes into its own.

Back up and connect. Lift, which lets the support fall away. Lift some more to clear the fallen support. Drive away.

On return - get off the tractor and position the support, then lower onto it.
