It didn't act up immediately after adding the new fuel. The fuel was fresh.

You said in post #56 that: " the idle was awful after the first time I filled it with new fuel after the original tank ran low. More than midway through that tank, it seemed fine again and I felt silly taking it to the dealer when it all of the sudden began to run fine. This is only the third tank of fuel its ever had and it's still showing 7/8th full. "

No matter how good you think the first refill fuel was, it was after that first refill and before you got to mid tank of that refill fuel that the vibration appeared by your description. It takes a while for any new tank refill fuel to get to the engine because of what's in the filters, the lines, etc. You've only filled once since the first time and are currently on your 3rd tank in history in April 2019 by your description. So Meisen is saying everything points to that first refill of fuel -- and he is right. Whether you stirred up crud in the bottom of the tank during that refill, got some water in the fuel or somehow into the tank or had condensation during 6 mos or more of little utilization, some defect MIGHT exist in one of the injectors, etc. None of us could know.

But for crap sake go do the easy stuff first.

1) Discuss it with your dealer -- his phone is not a long trip. Follow his direction BUT insist that being a brand new machine he must deal with the issue one way or another. It wasn't too far for him to deliver your machine or to take your money.
2) Add good diesel additive and run it long enough so you are sure that is thoroughly into what the engine is burning. Ohio is full of good tractor service shops in every corner of the state within a 30 min. drive or so. If nothing else, ask any one of them what additive they would suggest.
3) Invest $14 in an infrared thermometer and see if you get any worthwhile data.
4) Find a nearby farmer willing to talk. They won't bite.

...and then there is us ! I suppose...
