Loader Problem mounting FEL

My B3030 has a L403 that uis supposed to be quick on/off; however, if you are not parked on completely level ground (concrete pad, for example), good luck with the "quick" part! The arms will not disengage from the bottom pins. It took me 35 minutes to detach the FEL, using methods not specified in the manual. I'm dreading the Fall when I have to put it back on. My tractor barn has a dirt floor, it's hard to park completely level. I have a feeling I'm going to be hoisting that FEL in order to get it back on.

Agreed, if not level most any FEL will pose some difficulty commensurate with the degree of irregularity of the surface. I have been able to compensate by the use of differing thickness of boards under the sides of the bucket and "feet". I have often found the first couple of times can be a little stiff due to paint thickness or other issues.

On my BX I use a sheet of plywood on a flat dirt or gravel surface.

Add me to the "yup - mine do it" list. They didn't always. They just started after I greased everything up real well.

I blame the grease. I also don't mind it much, as all it takes is a little push to get them lined back up.

My fel has a bar bolted across the top of the booms at the rear, just in front of the virticle mounting arms. I suspect this keeps the booms from shifting position, especially if the bucket is not on level groundas compared to the legs.
