I will check the shut off solenoid fuse . Thank you fellows for helping me out.

If the fuel shut-off solenoid fuse was bad it would not start at all. What is being suggested is to check if the temperature switch part # is RE503242 is plugged in, this is part of the cold start advance. I have attached a write up on how the cold start advance works.

To comply with the exhaust emissions regulation, the timing of injection pump should be around 6 to 9 degrees before TDC. These timing values do not allow proper start-up operations when engine is cold. To ease engine start-up, a cold advance system gives to the injection pump a temporary over-timing.

When coolant temperature is below 50 C (122 F), the solenoid valve is activated and opens the cold advance circuit.

Kpack , I believe that's the sensor connector right behind the injection pump in that picture, but the picture doesn't show the thermostat housing very well.

I think fuse is in fuse block but if this fuse is blown engine will not start

The thermostat sensor is on the same circuit the fuel shut-off solenoid is on.

Take a look at the pictures I posted in thread#5 and you will see where the thermostat is located, along with what it looks like.

In the timing advance pdf thread #12 in the picture of fuel injection pump the connector labeled B is where the thermostat plugs in.

Hope this pulls it all together. Again if the fuse is blown it will NOT start as the fuel shut-off solenoid is closed.

.i went to turn screw on the bottom of fuel filter to drain any water . I barely cracked it with it running a soon as it started dripping it died. It's low on the fuel gauge but she says it has fuel. I've bleed the fuel filer and pump for air as manual says and have plenty of fuel coming out. Now I can't find in the manual about cracking injector lines at the block like I do my tractor. no fun right now I'm going after a can of diesel.
It says something in the manual about the pump prime button on top of the fuel filter the black round button there. image.jpegimage.jpegneeds to be left down but I don't see how I could lock down.
