The rear remotes on my 1652 have power in both directions. They both push strong with my Top Link, Stump Grinder, etc... I'm wondering if there was something missed during the install on yours? The open station units don't come standard with a remote, maybe your dealer didn't install it correctly?
It's quite possible that they did miss something, since purchasing the tractor I have become less than impressed with the dealership.i will give them a call about this on Monday.

A pressure gauge on a QD would be very useful for this problem.

Mine is on a Tee, so that I can check deadheaded or inline.

Yes a gauge would be helpful. I have unhooked the hoses and pumped fluid into a bucket. There is good pressurized flow on one side of the valve and decent volume but no pressure on the other side until the detent is reached then there is no flow at all. I am going to pull the seat today and see if there is anything obviously amiss with the valve or linkage.

Problem solved! Thanks to Brian from Fit rite hydraulics for the simple and obvious suggestion to take a look in my owners manual. Turns out the valve can be switched between single and double acting by a lever on the valve body. now if the rain would stop I could get out and do some real work. I got out for a few minutes to try it out but it is a very cold/heavy rain falling and not conducive to open station tractor operation.
Thanks all for your input.

Good deal ... imagine that. My Montana has such a setup only its a knob turn it right or left ... I didn't even think of that!!
