Problems with new Mahindra 4035

That appears to me to be the relief block assembly. Here it is in the manual:

Seems to me it is calling for a copper crush washer on that banjo bolt. Could just be a case of needing another turn or two. Lots of places to leak from. I'd get a set of wrenches and give everything a grunt...

My 2615 twice leaked from the banjo bolt. It leaked the first time due to being loose after over 100 hours. It leaked the second time because the opening was so narrow as to barely allow the longest, thinnest crescent wrench in my tool box. However, even though I was able to tighten it some, it wasn't able to get enough leverage to eliminate the leak. Once I convinced myself the best way to fix it was a long handled 24mm wrench, I have had no problems over the last few hundred hours. It just took the right tool and a little knowledge which turned out to be the easiest fix ever.

I don't blame the op for wanting this fixed under warranty. But, it helps to challenge oneself at times, especially when the tractor is sitting idle and unusable.

I have had to buy wrenches specifically to heat up and put a bend or two in it to reach certain things. I have an entire drawer of various wrenches bent in various ways to make specific jobs doable without extra hours of disassembly/reassembly to get to what is needed with a straight wrench. There have been a couple instances of purchasing two identical wrenches, bending them opposite ways, and having to switch back and forth to make very slow progress. Problem with tractors, lots of stuff take big wrenches which are hard to bend, heat or not; and they're also sorta somewhat spendy to be buying to bend...

I saved money by buying the entire set of long handle metric combination wrenches, sizes 10mm - 26mm at harbor freight for $19.95, on sale, but at the time I just needed the 24mm. The 24mm Craftsman was over $15. The harbor freight set is quite good enough for every thing I need.

That bolt is a simple, copper crush washer with a little rubber lip on the inside bolt and then another copper washer . put some torque to it, there's no spec. If you've been having problems with wierd hydro leaks, you may have the same problem I had. Took me to figure it out. The main relief valve was stuck open. I was getting 7000psi! Run the tractor up to PTO speed, 2400 rpms put safety classes on. Try to curl the bucket and let the bypass kicks in. You will probably hear a hissing sound, that hydro oil blowing out, if it really bogs the motor down. Say over 200 rpms, I'm gonna guess yours is stuck too. Supposed to be set at like 3950 psi. Search my posts you can follow threw my frustration, and no one believing me
