I just spent some time searching the web for the following problem. I found one other question on a different forum and it wasn't answered.
My 5145 has about 100 hours on it. I bought it with about 60 hrs from the first owner.
The clutch began sticking a bit at the half way mark when I depressed it to switch from Fwd to Rev but it was a pretty minor resistance. I mentioned it to the dealer and they didn't have any ideas....and it was very intermittent so I couln't demonstrate the problem. Now, 20 or so hours later, it has become a problem to the point that I have almost been unable to depress the clutch all the way to start it and sometimes during operation I just can't depress the clutch enough to even shift from N to Rev. When that happens I have found I can shift the main transmission (left gear lever) to neutral, move the direction lever to Fwd, depress the clutch, then shift the main transmission to the desired gear range.
I plan to visit with the dealer again tomorrow!
