Projects that make you shake your head

It has variable displacement pumps and a rod that sticks out of each pump to adjust the blow (see:

It looks like a half done, poorly thought out project to me.

I suspect that it is supposed to be a walk behind unit, but it is self propelled and it is listed as a "Zero Turn" so who knows.

I like to know what jerk put the pro shaft next to the seat. He should stay away from building anything else.

So....how exactly does this contraption turn? There doesn't appear to be any wheel, control sticks, or other linkages.

I circled the lever on the side of the pump in the picture. Move it one way, go forward, center to stop, the other way to go backwards. There's an identical pump on the other side of the machine for the right wheel motor.
