propane gas tank

I had a fight with the propane gas co (amerigas) and they locked my tank! I have 100 gal left. any one know how to unlock the tank? of course its not the on off valve. Any assistance would be appreciated

Does it have a cotter pin for the hinge? Well if it does....if not describe the tank, cover and lock.

If they didn't put a lock on the shut off valve I would suspect they put a plug in the outlet line.

Do you own the tank, or lease it? If you own your own tank, you can shop for the supplier with the best price.

Did you not pay for the gas?Are they coming to pick up their tank and what gas is left? Or is the tank/valve faulty or unsafe and on their unsafe to use/fill list?

I do have access to the tank. It seems like there is no difference in the tank before this happened. There 1 regulator on the tank and 1 at the house. I wasnt sure if they could shut off the tank by turning a valve besides the obvious one which is the turn valve. It s driving me crazy because I cant figure out how they did it and there still is 100 gal in the tank? Any help would be appreciated and thanks for your responce to my message

Would I ready see the plug or do I have to take that part off? It looks the same as before? nothing looks any different
