propane gas tank

Just park a BUNCH on unmovable items around it so they cant retreive their tank.

Then call and ask how long we need to do this?

They'll answer "as long as you want."

They make their money on gas delivery, and if he fights like that they'll rightly assume there are no more deliveries to be made and abandon efforts to retrieve the tank. They're in the business to make money, not win battles with unreasonable homeowners. The homeowner may "win" and keep the tank, but he'll never get it filled again.

*Not to mention that if you can move it to block the tank, it's not unmoveable.

I had a fight with the propane gas co (amerigas) and they locked my tank! I have 100 gal left. any one know how to unlock the tank? of course its not the on off valve. Any assistance would be appreciated

Some years back, I switched gas companies. I had a large tank, which was 1/2 full. I thought the new company might transfer the gas or whatever. They unhooked the tank and installed their new, full tank.

I called the first gas company to, tell them I had switched, but had gas in their tank. They said, they would pick it up and give me a credit. A couple of years went by and they hadn't picked up the tank. I hooked it back up, burned off the gas, re-hooked my new tank and gave the old tank to a junk dealer. End of story.

Dialects/accents are really interesting. I am from Southeast Missouri, better known as "Swampeast Missouri" and my first job was in Kansas City, Missouri. When I first got up there, the Officers asked if something was wrong with my radio or if that was the way they were built "down there".

A while later, after acclimating to "the big city", I transferred back home and the "locals" would say, "You ain't from around here are you".:laughing:

Not to keep steering this thread off coarse (although maybe that's a good thing?) you are right TripleR. Lots of places I trucked, I met people from Missouri, Alabama, etc. and I could barely understand what they were saying to me. Then I realized they couldn't understand me either, lol.
Just like my friends in Australia. I'd rather email as I can barely understand them on the phone.
I still don't know were the "aboot" comes from though. I've honestly never heard that. Maybe because I live close to the U.S. border? But I do have a bad habbit of saying "eh". Sure gets you some glaring looks when I'm in the places that hate Canadians.
