I think also what way the stand is faceing has a lot to do with it. You can be on your fence line, but make sure your shooting into your property. Heck I dont care if I have one stand on the side of a big tree that shares my fence line and my neighbor has one on the other, as long as the bullet says on his property and mine does the same.
I have a problem with stands that have their backs to the neighbors property and yet have a clear line of sight into the shooting land I took all summer to cut and replant with no till.
Lets face it, with all the taxes we pay we should be able to enjoy our property without someone else impacting it. Its madding when people hunt your property after you go through the trouble of improving it.
I guess since I hunt archery I am more annoyed by the constant drive and push method. Sit in the stand for a while and see whats going on before you decide its 9am and I didnt see anything on the first day so I need to put a drive on.
