I agree. Around here they keep taking lanes away from autos for bicyles, there are bicycle traffic lights (as if a bicyclist would obey a law) that costs money, special striping on the road, special signage, etc. etc. They should be taxed to be on the road and fined for breaking traffic laws.
Exactly... so many of the 4 lane expressways are being converted to 2 lane plus bike lanes with tons of paint used to mark miles of bike lanes... car and bike accidents continue to increase in places were bike lanes are actually used.
Here in East Oakland on Bancroft ave... I have NEVER seen a bike EVER in the new bike lanes... some planers idea of utopia?
It has made auto traffic congestion increase and now there is talk of demand pricing for cars using a FastTrack system...
