Pros to having a riding mower over a zero-turn

I bought my first ZT last summer when I bought my new home. I have roughly 4 acres of yard to mow. I can honestly say I absolutely hate my ZT and hate mowing my yard now, when I use to love to mow yards. The absolute game changer for me is that I can no longer drink beer and mow. That is the single biggest downfall to owning a ZT.

I hope you are joking. You can get dead real quick operating a ZTR while intoxicated.

A little tractor mower is easier to get unstuck, and you can mow rolling terrain a bit easier, like the berms on our bike trails, as it has a surprising amount of articulation and frame flex! But I agree for any normal type lawn mowing, a zero turn is going to be better.
Unfortunately our lawn is not normal, so the LT1000 is here to stay! Our fruit bushes and tree layout was determined by my wife who has never cut any lawn, so its an obstacle course with 48" wide gaps on the side of a hill.

Mine is a 61" deck with a top speed of 9mph. Feels way faster than that though...

I went with a zero turn with steering wheel, better? on hills due to non caster wheels, I can one hand a water when needed, but biggest, the wife will help cutting the lawn...
