The Kawasaki is limited to 3,600 RPM. What is the Robin's limit set to? If the Kawasaki is faster at high idle than the Robin, then the system pressure may be higher, assuming the relief setting is also high.

The Robin is also limited to 3600 RPM. However, when you load it up it slows down and the pressure drops. The max pressure for the Robin is also 2500 PSI (I think), but it cannot substain it. I am probably just being over cautious, but if the PT422 power is increased in one area, then something else may break. Typical race care issues, more horsepower, then the transmission blows. Stronger transmission and the drive shaft goes.

I would sure like more power, and 29HP seems about right. Going up only three horepower to a 425 does not seem like enough, six HP does.
