That's the question I often tell prospective PT owners to ask themselves. If not, then "Do you have someone you trust that can fix it for you?"

Personally, I love working on machinery. The grime under my nails, the bumps on the head, the skinned knuckles. Three trips to NAPA. Heck, just for fun last week I jacked up our van and yanked out the tranny, fuel injection, alternator, power steering, brakes, air conditioning and trailer hitch. Today I swapped some tires and rims and soon I'm selling the carcass to a kid that will run it in a demolition derby. I sleep well after a day like that... after a good rinse in orange goop cleaner, of course.

I like to do the same, unfortunately time is a big factor these days. Still if I didn't cut my finger or bruise something over the weekend. I don't consider it a productive weekend.
