Here's a few more pic's for anyone that's interested. One of the pool he's having installed and the monsters that made the mess. I felt like a little kid again playing in the sand box with both tractors moving dirt this weekend. Quality seat time ;)

My neighbor Nate next door, who I sold my 180 asked me to help him level several mounds of dirt.

He's having a pool put in and the Cat has piled up several large mounds of dirt. Here are a few pic's of the two machines working together. Along with the two grown boys, I mean men playing in the dirt with their toys. Hard to tell from this angle but I have a full bucket.
Sounds like a great fun time.
I'd like to have the dirt free
:D

Mr Brown, it's not very good dirt, mostly clay shale and rock but, it will make a good filler for building up certain areas.

Where I will be landscaping I plan to put good dirt over top for growing bush's, plants etc. As for fun your welcome to bring your three BX's over and you can have some fun too, take some dirt back with you. ;)

Looks like you both were enjoying yourselves! And if you can get a job done and enjoy the process there's not much better!

Unfortunately, the last couple days I have not been enjoying my new project. If you checked out my "A small pole building for the PT" thread you can see I've made a few mistakes and have had to wrestle with things more than I'd of prefered. Biggest mistake was not thinking of using the PT right away when I needed to pull a post... I'll blame it on being sick.

Bill that´s going to be one nice pole barn when your done with it. http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/projects/119097-small-pole-building-pt.html#post1371991

I'm a little jealous, I still have to l cram things into my little under sized shed. Can't wait to see more pictures and the completed building. I'll bet BobRip, could give you some helpful input / ideas. He just had a nice detached garage/shop built if you checked out the pictures.
I'd be interested in seeing your attachment storage system. I need to come up with something now for this new post hole digger. It's almost a two man job moving it around. I need to build a stand for it, so I can just back up and attach it to the tractor where it sits.

Yeah, we both had some fun. I get a kick out of ol Nate. I'll be out in the garage doing some woodworking late at night. I'll hear the PT coming around the back way through the woods. Then lights light up the side of the garage.

He stops and gets off of the PT and comes in to see what I'm up to, we chat for a while. Then he gets back on and drives up the road to the front of his house. Reminds me of an old western where the guy rides up to the Saloon, ties off his horse and goes in for a drink. :) That little PT serves him well, glad I sold it to my neighbor. He's done a great job of leveling out his yard and uses it for planting, hauling fire wood and, just about anything you can image. :)

When I get done with my trailer hitch attachment setup, we will both be able to interchange the use of self made attachments on either machine.

Thanks but if I went tit for tat, I think the Power Trac in a 400 series would come out ahead in capabiltiy. It would be very close though depending on ones needs in a tractor. ;)
Barry, thanks for that endorsement from someone who's spent extensive seat time on both a PT and a SCUT...

Our PTs may look strange, but they are soooo very versatile!

Hummm, I can sense some of you guys on here may resent me for going orange. What can I say, the way I look at it we are all tractor guys green, orange, red.

We all love that seat time. For that matter there should be no hard feelings if someone wanted to start there own Power Trac Web Site. ;) Everyone does whats best for them and I can respect that.

That said, it should be no surprise I have said from the beginning that the PT is a great machine. Thats not to say I am not impressed with my BX. It's also a very well built and useful tractor and has it's own advantages.

I see no crime in liking both tractors, If there is, then lock me up I'm guilty. I wouldn't hesitate a minute to buy another PT somewhere down the road.
Strange looking? Depends on your point of view. I think Power Tracs are unique looking in a really cool way.

If and when I do buy another PT it will have to be a real upgrade in tractors. At least a 1430 might scratch my itch. Have to be something I could get really excited about.

No resentment here... I respect the objectivity you bring to the table. I love my little Simplicity/Allis machines also, and plan to keep them. I also acknowledge the way that some machines outperform others -- that's why I don't ever intend to maintain my lawn with my PT...

A PT certainly isn't for everyone, but I haven't found anything else that will do so many things so well, at such an affordable price...

I totally agree, you can't beat the price and versatility. I think for the main stream it has more to do with, do I have the capability to fix this thing if it breaks down? PT'ers are a select group. :)
