pto clutch is there cheaper parts

Hi everyone
I bought a cubcadet mower about 5 years ago

mod number 13ap11cp709
serial # 1b016H20094

I went to tractor supply and they told me $415, The guy repairing my
mower said he could cut me a break and order it for $315 maybe.

Is there any place to get the PTO clutch any cheaper or have it rebuilt.
I only paid $1700 for the mower and have hard time paying over $315
for a clutch. Has anybody had rebuilt, if you did where and how much did
it costs. Also does the $315 sound reasonable.

Let me know if more info is needed.

Michelle, I don't know of any user serviceable parts on these electric PTOs. Your best bet price wise would be to order one online, eBay, etc.

JTKub is right, Your best bet is to go on ebay,etc and find a brand new one. Best of luck!

By your model number you have a LT1050 and the PTO clutch part number is 917-04174A. The best price I've found was $179.95 plus $7.95 shipping from here MTD Electric PTO Clutch
its the second to last clutch on the page.
