I have an old fiat 600, from 70’s that after running 20 mins with a lawn mower, the pto disengage.
Also noticed that when trying to engage pto it makes noise( gears noise).
So it sounds like two problems.
Not easy pto engagement and pto disengagement while running
With the tractor stopped, if i press the clutch to the end pto is released, i can move it by hand. But when running something changed inside and pto even with full clutch, it is still stucked.i mean, it still spinning, no change on speed
Was thinking to reduce clearance between pto fingers and thrust bearing, but i see the pto disc moving like 1 mm with the tractor stoped, so not sure if needed.
Any advice?
