pto free wheeling

Just put new clutches in the pto of my farmall 706. Turned it on after it was all put back together worked fine, went to shut it off and wood not stop. Hooked it upto my mower and it would not spin take it off and just freewheels again any help.

Sounds like it will spin when out of gear if theres no load? Is there an internal brake not working? ... or maybe the new clutch is dragging a little. Dont know if that is a serious issue. :confused3:

Sounds like its just drag from the lube. My JD does it too.

What do they call that ?, peristaltic ?
