PTO Generator outlet box problems. Help need pls

Howdy,
Any wire will need to have 4 conductors. The wire will need to be somewhat flexible. The standard stuff which many places want to sell you would be 6/4 SOOW. I find that is ok, But... from more in depth reading learning and using, I have standardized on 6/4 Type W cord. The ampacity is a lot more for the 6 awg multi-conductor cable than SOOW type.

Such as
6/4 Type W is rated 87 amps
6/4 SOOW is rated 45 amps
Either way, Type W cord can not be found at your corner store.

My 30kw pto generator has 4 2/0 cables to the SB350 Anderson ends.

Thanks to all who have helped. I appreciate it.
For anyone who goes through the process.. you can see there are different ways, this is the solution which at this time fits my needs.

Think of it like this, the power from the generator goes out a cord end which can not be touched. So the house will need a inlet. (SCM460B12W) The cord will have your special connection plug for your PTO generator. (HBL9461C Plug from generator) The other end of the cord going to the house inlet would be a SCM460C12W.

You would then have the correct pieces.

6/4 cord
end of cord
SCM460C12W
house mounted inlet
SCM460B12W

I would also add that you do not want the cable to short. I would suggest at least 20ft.

Another method,
a large NEMA 3R box which the cord can be stored in. Hard wired to your panel, with the cord, and you would then just need the plug that goes into your PTO generator.

Probably a box about 32" x 32" x 8 " deep or whatever would hold the cord all rolled up. You bring the PTO generator around, open the box, pull out the cord and plug it in.
