Because it is a hydraulic pto and there may be an issue with driving a generator. I have also wondered if it is possible.Huh? What does a pto generator have to do with a certain brand of tractor?
Here is another thread:Has anybody used a PTO generator with their 5610? If so, how did it work out for you?
Please tell me where "I" can buy an 1900 RPM 15kw diesel "stand alone" generator for $1.200.00?? How about at double that price??why would anyone use the Toolcat to generate power, it would be far cheaper to have a stand alone generator on gas or diesel plus no wear and tear on the Toolcat, just my opinion
Not much of a thought process there.it would be far cheaper to have a stand alone generator on gas or diesel
Convenience, cheaper price and not another engine to maintain.why would anyone use the Toolcat to generate power, it would be far cheaper to have a stand alone generator on gas or diesel plus no wear and tear on the Toolcat, just my opinion
The good answer is, IF the pto can hold a constant speed then it will work, and I bet it will.
