I have the same check valve kit he has..... but the problem is that with the side link that Kubota uses, the distance between the 2 ports is too short to fit the check valve into. Very frustrating.

Curious, for which tractor, the L4060?

Curious, for which tractor, the L4060?

Its for my GL4060

Here is a pic of the side link with the checkvalve on top. I dont see a way that with the banjo bolts installed that it will ever fit.

I am thinking about modifying the extra toplink in the picture to make it a side link.

That's the problem with the 4" stroke cylinders. Simply not enough room to get a DPOCV installed in line. You could get a bunch of fittings and get it mounted off to the side. Your tractor really should have a 5" stroke cylinder for everything to be just right.

I think that if you go with the top link that you have and modify , at best it will be level when fully retracted and a very steep angle when fully extended. There are suppliers that build to be level when fully retracted, but that limits the capabilities of the machine unless you go with 2 hyd side links.

Good luck with your endeavor.

Thanks!

I may yet place my side link order with you and get on the waiting list!
