Welcome to TBN

Might get a good response regards the splitter in the "Attachments" forum. Here is for new member intro. Now, what have you heard about the screw splitters?
Search here will give you comments that range from "It's insane" to "they work great". :D

Frankly, I found them to work ok, and also would like to have one in the garage working off an electric motor to break down larger split pieces into smaller. Little noise, and much better than a hand splitting maul on the garage floor. :)

my tractor is a JD 650 with just 15hp and I still think there is enough power to operate a screw...It seems like all the spots on youtube looks like they are busting rotten wood or really dry stuff..I have alot of red oak. I would sure love to try one..thanks for all your help..
