Steelfan - What I mean is that if you come to a tree or something you have to start turning way in advance. Plus, since the bar sticks way out it's hard to judge how close it is to something. For example, you might think you're going to miss a tree, but instead you're 3 inches off and will hit it, then you have to back up. Backing up a pull behind sickle mower would be tricky.

turn the wheel in the opposite direction you want to go.
just like driving a semi.
