In answer to the question does the tiller cover my tire tracks, haven't noticed any problems either way, as tiller is pulled by tractor. But on looking at spec sheet, it said tractor is 53.7 inches wide, and I have rear tire spacers, which should make mine around 56 inches wide. I was thinking about how to use the tiller in combination with my other tools, to make a garden efficient, and plan on tilling a swath, and skipping a swath, to allow me to have two planted rows, and then a path thru the garden to drive thru with the Big Red, to make it easy to work and harvest. I love the way the tiller works the soil, and plan on tilling once, then using the FEL to mound up two row of compost that I have been saving up and turning over for the last eight years, then re-till hoping that will help mound up the two rows, then finsh off by hand. By having only two rows, back to back, and large areas to work them from on either side, hope to be able to work, and harvest really easy. I know this method will take up more space, but will be worth it.
