i dunno why not.....done it many times.....

haven't gotten off to hook up anything besides hoses and pto in years either...

to each their own i guess, i would never go withot the imatch. i make everything fit it.

as far as a post hole digger, use the imatch as the frame for the digger. all you remove is the top link and hook the top of imatch to boom pool. done deal no removal of imatch and wrestling post hole digger.

a little modifying will save years of grief.

Ummm.... not following you here. Got a pic of that setup??? The reason I ask is, how do you LOCK the top hook of the imatch to the "boom pole"? The boom would pop out of the hook as soon as you touched the auger to the ground.

BTW... awesome tractor you have there hollow!!!!!!!

Hey Hollowcd,
That is one SWEET machine ya got there. I'm sure you'll love that 5525.

Just wanted to give one more opinion on the I-match debate. I think it is one of the most helpful atachments you can put on your machine, but only if you have a hydraulic top link. Without the HTL the extendable lower arms are better. Another trick I discovered that also helps with I-match hook-up is to use bushings that can rotate on the mounting points of the implement. I don't buy the adapter kits because they are fixed in place with a spring pin. A buddy of mine has a machine shop and makes parts really cheap. I like the I-match so much I bought a category II quick-hitch for my 5000 series tractor. Same pin height, slightly wider spacing.

Regards,

Tom

!

weld a couple irons goin up off the imatch to put the pin through....no different than the post hole digger "a" frame.....

no pics i did this for a buddy and never took any, don't have a post hole digger myself but if i did thats how i'd do it...makes it a simple hook up.

Finally pulled the trigger on an 08 5525. After about 6 months of looking I finally found the one I wanted. I am considering adding a buddy seat to my cab and was hoping I could get a little feedback from those who have one. Any pictures of one installed would be awesome. It would be nice for my kids or wife to tag a long sometimes so I am considering the seat. It looks like I will have to replace the plastic to the left of the drivers seat to do so? I dont see anywhere to attach anything from the current setup. I have also considered the seatback extension as it seems that the seat doesnt come very far up on the back support. Any feedback from owners would be highly appreciated. Along with those items I will belooking at a quick hitch system so I can hook/unhook the ccm drum mower a lot faster so any advice on brands would be good too, seems like the Deeres Imatch are kind of salty. I am sure I will have more questions to come...Thanks,
hollow

Hollow: how's that CCM drum mower doing for you? What are you mowing? Any complaints regarding the mower?

Hollowcd,
That's a good looking machine ! Hopefully it will be at least a 30-year piece of equipment for you. Next pics need to show at least a little dirt though !

Sorry for the late response guys. Ill get some pics of the 5525 with the CCM mounted. Put down about 75 acres last week and let me tell you that thing will mow. I plan on starting a new post with a full review of the 5525 and CCM here very soon so keep your eyes peeled.
