Here's a pullin' rig I made for my mule. Consists of a pull hook on the pto, 75lbs of weight on each wheel, and a transport wheel to support the motor end of the tractor. I used it to pull some heavy railroad ties out of the ground that had been soaking there for fifty years of so. This thing likes to do heavy work.

I like that idea. I was considering something similar for my 107d, but since the skid plate was only bolted to the engine, I was worried about the engine block taking the load and esspecially the shock.

Looks good. I have the tow coupler for my Grillo 107d. I've used it to skid some logs but it doesn't have enough ummph to pull the larger logs. Maybe this (being lower) would give me better leverage.
