Ernie,

Tried to return your call, but apparently you were out.

Don't know about the 1510. My steering wheel is mounted on a splined shaft about (can't measure it exactly) about 6/10 of an inch in diameter.

Turns out a wiring harness I ordered from Yanmar is backordered & won't be here as soon as promised, so I have a couple more weeks to fiddle with the steering wheel. And after asking around some more I am going to try a couple new ideas for pulling it without destroying it. If I knew yours would fit, I wouldn't hesitate to destroy it to remove it. We'll see.

if you have time make a better puller. get a piece of steel thick enough that it will not bend and notch it to fit around the shaft. take a gear puller and make pieces to bolt it to the blate. Then crank on the puller and tap the center bolt of the puller.
