While I can still reach my drawbar with the BH on, whatever is hooked up tends to rub against the bottom of the BH while pulling. Instead, I tie around the base of the backhoe, at the bottom of the boom which is almost at the same height as the drawbar. The boom is much wider and gives me a stable spot at which to connect. I haven't had any problems pulling some pretty large trees down using this method and have never seen any signs of distress on the tractor or BH. However one does it, going slow is a must for best control. John
