Pulverizer Use.

I like the looks of those spikes,they look a little longer than what I've seen.Wonder who makes that?

I\'ve seen a contractor

using a Woods implement that was a very small unit of a single roller pulverizer and a very short straight grader blade in front of it. Backing up pushed soil with the blade and forward ran the pulverizer to prep. I looked on the Woods website and can't see it listed? Looked inexpensive and convenient for small jobs where you didn't have to move a lot of dirt around.
I bought my tractor and all the implements as a package deal, 1 year old. I wouldn't have paid for the renovater on my own, but I'm glad I have it. It IS a very nice unit to have. (landscape work) The seeder is great. FWIW

Hi Rick--I think the Pulverizer will do the job "in a pinch". Because of the low horsepower required and versalitity, Several of our customers have gone back a few years and brought out a tool that most have forgot about, the seed drill--These put in seed from clover to small grains with no problem and are priced less that $1000 used. In all seeding. the existing grass or cover crop would need to be knocked down with roundup or equilivant. Most of these old units have the capability to do large and small seed and ferterlize at the same pass--Ken Sweet

Thanks Ken,can't say I've ever seen a seed drill before.So what your saying is all I would need to do is kill off the grass and weeds first and just go over it with a seed drill?
