Problem is, when I need a police officer, I need them immediately, not minutes to hours later; which you're not going to have unless you convert to a police state. Otherwise, it's "he said, she said", or I have to do my own self defense with it's attendant legal risks.

Wear body armor and install a dash cam that might get you threw until the police arrive.The most important thing is get your CPL.

I'm sure some of you have seen this, but this is what I think about now when I see police officers driving around.

What I love most about this video is the number of stripes on his sleeve and the knowledge that he never expected this to be made public. Bet this guy is a great neighbor.

There's a house across the street available if he's looking. I'm betting my local department would be better with him. I want my cops to have their game face on. But I want them to be normal enough to cut loose a little also. I'll bet this guy doesn't have a huge stress problem that warrants aggression to rid himself of his stress.

agreed. I saw him on a talk show and he seemed like a good guy. Although it was a staged event. I would have liked it more if it was unintentional.

My takes is too many are confrontational and I'm speaking of the public...

I was taught respect for the law and courtesy.

Again, too many are just looking for a fight or even a payday and I'm speaking first hand.

In the wee hours of the morning the hospital pharmacy was broken into and police summoned... I chased the burglar as he went into the woods as the police arrived... they got on the bullhorn and told him to surrender... he did not... so they police dog was sent in.

Anyway, one dog bite turned into a huge trail and lawsuit for police brutality... as I said in court... just how many times to have to ask a thief to surrender before sending in the dog?

Local Law Enforcement are now being targeted and followed home after shifts... just think about that?
