I got stuck with my 3038 the other day where my driveway drops off quick. With My old Kubota B8200 I could put the FEL all the way to dump, drop straight down and curl the bucket to push the tractor back out. I tried that with the Deere and curling the bucket wouldn't do it. Just chattered. Once I got unstuck I tried it in the drive. I found if the bucket was fully dumped - slighty past verticle - the result was the same. When I payed attention to the angle of the bucket in the dump position and only brought it to verticle it would move the tractor backwards.
I didn't think there would be a point of dimmishing returns on the hydraulic cylinder if I brought the bucket past 90 degrees. Anyone else experience this?

I actually had to do this just this morning. i was making a small path to the oil fill location through about 2 feet of snow. the path had to bend on a slight slope. Well backing out with my blower on, 3pt hitch, I started to slide and got quite stuck. I used the curl method for the first time ever and it happened to work quite well, slow but effective.
I don't know what the angle of the bucket was but it was a full dump. slight rear gas and curl up and out I came. took a number of curls as I crept back slowly.
I had to move about 10 feet in this fashion.

I've used the FEL curl technique to push myself out of being stuck in over a dozen situations.... no problem such as you described.... works for me with full dump edge down, down pressure, curl and the tractor moves back with encouragement from HST reverse, 4wd and locked rear differential.

I've pushed my JD2520 out with the loader at least 50 times. It does it easily.

The only time it didn't work for me, the rear wheels were too far down in the snow. I lifted the rear wheels with the hoe, pushed snow under them with my feet and then I was able to push out with the loader while in reverse. 2010 Massey GC2610TLB

Here's a video of someone getting out of a tough spot using the loader on a 2320. I've done similar with mine too.

Yup, just how it worked with the Kubota. Gonna have to try to this some more just to make sure I was holding my tounge right.

The 3720 has been stuck multiple times along with the skidsteers and the curl technique always works. Have you reported the situation to Deere?

I got stuck this winter going down a steep hill, but I was plowing 3 feet of snow on my way down. I got stuck, and couldn't back up, and I could wiggle myself back up the hill by using the loader, posi, and brakes all at the right times. Its best if you don't allow the tires to spin. I "thought" I was screwed, but after 5 minutes, I was right back at it and unstuck!

Something doesn't seem right with the hyd. circuit. Different tractor as mine is a 4300. I have no loss of power in the curling rams with either the bucket in that position or the forks.

Some test of oil pressure gauge in strategic spots might give a clue if something is not right. A visit with the dealer to help out would be another suggestion.
