Putting Water Hydrants In

Well I'm tired of carrying buckets of water in the middle of winter so I'm putting a couple freeze-proof hydrants in.

Here is a shot of the 6500 waiting to be put to work. Looks kinda like a scorpion dont ya think?

Here is the general area part of the trench will be going in. I'll be following the grassline pretty closely. It'll be slow going as I have to dig down to 6' to keep it all from freezing.

Here is the front of the tractor viewed from where the trench will be going. I have to be careful not to hit the geothermal well heads and my water line.

Getting started with some trenching here. The ground is super dry and the clay is shattering like rock.
