PW Minor Boots

Well guys another boot question. Anyone have any experience with PW Minor boots? USA made -priced right up there with USA Red Wings ($256 for 8" boot) I need a 13.5 and as I was told by shoe salesman at Cabelas.."Only place you are going to find half sizes about like 10 is on line. So I found "Mid West Boot site-originally thought they were Thorogoods-but mfg is "PW Minor"
Again anyone have any experience.

i have a shoe they made (model Braxton) Very well made and compare to hand made. I had Vibran soles put on the pair I work in and use one pair for Sunday. When I heard they where discontinuing this model, I bought 2 more pair, should last rest of my life

I have a nice pair of RedWing - Irish Setter. I've, more or less, given up on leather work boots. It seems that 9 times out of 10 I will either get up and go out early enough that the dew on the field grass will keep the leather boots wet all day OR I will have a project that puts me in the little lake( five acres ) - the moat between the lakes - or in the big lake (120 acres ).

So I usually start out in Mucks but probably will end up in my old stinky tennis shoes. The tennis shoes smell so bad - they are kept hanging out in the work shed.

The big lake will ruin any type of shoe - first outing. Its a shallow lake - 8 feet deep max - but the bottom is a squishy, oozy, slimy three feet of goose poop and the water is very alkaline. One outing and a brand new pair of blue jeans will end up a ghastly shade of greyish-white. I have a VERY SPECIAL set of clothing if I'm going to be working in or around the big lake. This is where I also start out with the stinky tennis shoes.
