I have machines of each type and quad steer is awesome compared to the others. My main complaint with articulating is when your going along a trench or ditch edge it’s steers you into the ditch before steering you out. You have to very gradually steer out of it.
Front steers problem is when running a trencher or plow behind it sometimes the steering does nothing from being unweighted or because the trencher is acting like a rudder. Quad steer powers through this.
All machines I buy in the future will be quad tracked no matter the steering situation. The traction combined with minimal turf distribution really makes a difference when you have to “restore” where you work.
