I just bought a used Quality built one about 10 years old Still looks good. I will probably give it a coat of paint in the spring and will be parked inside then. ( hate powder coating also) It is a 12' X5.5" tilt, 7k gvw to haul my mini China made excv.. I have a question someone might give me their opinion on. It is a Butler style trailer, with just a square tube for the tongue. Is that as strong as a A frame style tilt trailer. I presently have a 12' x 6' tilt, 3,000 gvw to haul my 60" mower and UTV. I have had it for over 30 years and have towed it out west several times, Maine to Fla. Hauling mowers, UTV's. I bought a China MX50R to do some work at (too to old shovel any more) home . So this last spring I bought a 12' PJ utility trailer single axle and put a 6K axel under it but with 6 lug wheels the tires are rated at 5, 800 Ecv. weighs 4k But I don't think that is enough safety margin with trailer weight . So my amine is have one trailer . Hope I don't regret selling my other 2 trailers.
