I went and drove a new 4320 cab tractor today (minus the FEL) and noticed that the engine temp was a little past the middle towards the redmark.
My 4300 never gets more than a quarter of the way from the cold mark unless I'm bushhoging in very hot conditions and the screens start getting clogged up. Even then, it has only reached the halfway mark a couple of times.
Can any of you 4320 cab owners/operators advise me if it is normal for the 4320's to run a little on the warm side???
My test drive consisted of idling for short periods of time and running the tractor in the low and medium ranges for about 30 minutes with the cab air on. The only 2 things holding me back on purchasing this tractor is the A/C temp and the engine temp issue.
My concern is that the engine will heat up even more when I start working with a bushhog causing the temp to rise too close to the redmark for my comfort. My dealer only has one 4320 and I've even thought about going to another dealer and testing an identical tractor to see the difference.
Thanks for any comments or suggestions,
