Question about loader attachements

One issue is that few tractors run the hydraulic volume or pressure if a skid loader. Nor are as compact.
This has 2 big consequences.
1) if the implement requires a flow rate (volume) as a min flow rate greater than your tractor supplies, the implement may not function at all
2) very related—since tractors FEL’s are much longer than those on a skid steer, their lift capacities are often much lower than a skid steer. Many skid steer implements may be much heavier than the tractor related attachment. So while it may attach and should if you have a standard SSQA installed on your tractor, you may giving up working weight to implement weight.
So borrowing these implements may not be in your best interest for the work you need to get done.

I have a rear hydraulic powerpack that pumps out 15 gpm at 3000 psi. Uses a set of 1 hydraulic hoses to front of tractor. I use it for my snowblower, but theoretically i could also power front implements. Just never needed to. My tractor alone pumps about 9 gpm at 2500 psi as i recall. And most of that is used for hydrostat system.

When i was fencing i almost went with a loader mounted auger, but my 3 point one worked just fine.

That 9 gpm is in addition to the HST. Its not a lot of HP though- about 13 @ 2500 psi.

Couple years ago bought Kubota 3rd function kits to install on both B26 and M59 tractors. About $850 each. Got busy and let the local dealer install for $100 each. Buying new you should have some negotiable items to close a deal.

There are many skidsteer attachments you will be able to use. Some not so much. But many 3pt attachments to use.
