Mass is mass! A pound of anything is equal in velocity. Other factors can change the overall outcome. On things is for sure, objects in motion, want to stay in motion. Objects at rest require forces to overcome that rest.
When moving a container on an appropriate trailer, a 3500 series truck has no issues, once off of pavement, all bets or off!

how much do they weight and which direction are they traveling?

if they are hurled toward teh earth and weigh that of a feather the wind would likely deflect them and you wouldnt have to catch them they would merely land on you - i f they weight more than a lb it wont matter because you will be killed and no one will care

As the Earth rotates, Florida is moving east at about 900 mph, so be sure to allow for that when moving those containers.

A medium duty would have probably fared worse off road.
