As the homelessness crisis has intensified, California under Gov. Gavin Newsom's leadership allocated an unprecedented $24 billion to address homelessness and housing during the last five fiscal years, according to the Legislative Analyst's Office.

Plenty of hogwash from both sides of the aisle. Trouble is, way too many people tend to dismiss any news reporting that doesn't reinforce their own prejudices and/or seek out sources that do.

You should seek out both sides of any story and decide for yourself what is right and wrong. Then consider the source and decide who you want to listen to. Are you still a believer in the T russian dossier or the Russian HB laptop? Where did you get those reports from? Seems to me the ones crying misinformation the loudest are presenting it the most.

They didn't lose it, they spent it. They just can't account for what they spent it on

24 billion dollars /180K homeless people = $133,000 each. That's bonkers.

It's a real concern as cities, counties, etc. are stating the compelling need for ever greater amounts of money...
