question on kubota b3200 FEL buckets

/ question on kubota b3200 FEL buckets #21
I'm surprised - how big was the rock, the one in the picture? My b2620 picks up rocks 3/4 that size (partly in the bucket though) or I have filled the bucket with several smaller ones that are still big enough to stick pretty far out. It's still below 2000 RPM, picks it right up and runs with it. Your loader is rated higher than mine I would think.

That Typar roll isn't even on the scale, I should know I've pick up enough of them :p (I'm a carpenter).
The big rock was near the ends of the forks to start with but once it slid back closer to the bucket it picked it up OK. If you pick up a roll this size you are one strong man.:). It still has probably 600' left on it. I can't budge it by hand other than roll it. One day I was pushing it with my forks and it started rolling down the hill (my front yard). My wife, brother and his wife were nearby and we all watched it roll unwinding as it went until it hit my neighbors garage, about 400' away. Must have been 1000' on it to start with. I rounded it up with my bucket, pushing and rolling it and they picked up the wrap that had unrolled.

Keep bucket low. a un ballanced load or one that slides to one side or on unlevel ground such as fence posts of 1000 pounds or more WILL FLIP YOUR TRACTOR SIDEWAYS!!!!!!! I had several close calls. One back wheel will lift first. ALWAYS BE ON GUARD. A tractor bucket was not designed to have a load out that far, such as forks.

I must be thinking of a different size roll - never dealt with one that big thank goodness.

This has happened to me several times and I don't like it but I've got to move whatever. I always keep my hand on the FEL control lever, always, when moving a heavy load and the second it feels tipsy I drop the bucket. I'll encourage every one to always be ready with their hand on the control stick to drop the bucket with a heavy load. Also keep the bucket as low as possible.
